"...On my interview day, Brown had the "perfect fit" feeling I had been waiting to experience. I wanted to train at an academic program that was able to help me grow as a clinician and researcher, and I knew that that Brown could be that place for me. What I was so happy to find when I visited was that the entire EM Department felt like a family. From the Program Director, Jessica Smith, and chief residents to the interns, each person I spoke to described how they enjoyed being a part of Brown EM. Whether it was a story about growing friendships, finding a first job, or navigating personal emergencies, every resident was able to tell me how they felt incredibly supported and valued by each other and the faculty.I am thrilled to be joining this family and know that not only will I have fantastic training, but I will also have the best teammates along the way!. "
